The Siege of Talabheim!
The Siege of Talabheim was a fierce and bloody battle with over 20,000 points of troops massed on an amazing sixteen-foot gaming table! At the dawn of the day troops marched to their stations and stood nervously poised to do battle with their opponents.

With a cry that rang out clearly across the battlefield, the forces of evil surged forward to crash upon the high walls of Talabheim like water across a craggy coastline. As the battle ebbed and flowed it became clear that Talabheim would not fall this day!

When the sun sank beneath the tree line, the Empire forces rallied and beat back the tide of evil. It truly turned into a dark day for the siegeing armies as they slunk once again over the horizon and back to the darkness that birthed them.

Victory for the Emperor!!!
Faith in the Emperor has granted our forces on Planet K victory! Our first encounter with the new Tyranid menace was a surprise for many as Planet K is a mining planet, and had no visible signs of Tyranid infestation.

During a drilling operation in sector <classified> came the first sign of threat. Four days and nights passed with fighting the hordes before our brave men could contact a nearby Imperial Fleet for assistance.

Few of the soldiers survived the ordeal, but with the living came information on this new infestation. Being a key planet for the Imperium in regards to metals and a supply station for our fleets, we could not eradicate the problem by exterminating the site. Further action will be taken to regain Planet K. Planet K is now the center of the new Hive Fleet designated Golgotha. Reports from surrounding planets <classified>, <classified> and <classified> have positive IDs of Tyranid spore seeds as well.

Planetary Governor Reed was executed for heresy against the Emperor. A new Governor will be appointed after we reclaim Planet K.
Doing your part and having faith in the Emperor will lead us to victory!
